Tami Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I finished making a machine embroidered lace fascinator hat for my friend's little girl and needed pictures to show it off. Yes, you guessed it - poor Fearghus had to suffer through a short modeling session. At first he wanted to eat the hat, but then my husband Steve offered him a treat to "stay". Needless to say, Fearghus was extremely glad when it was all over and went back to his nap. Cheers, Tami
josie&holly Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 He does not look very happy but it makes a very cute photo of a handsome dog! www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk
hheldorfer Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 The hat is beautiful but I don't think Fearghus appreciates it.
Dempsy's Mom Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 It's a great hat! Fearghus says, "Doesn't it have a box?" Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori
Hawkeye Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Nice job on the hat, but Fearghus may want to report you to the puppy police.
Tami Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Yes, Fearghus wasn't thrilled about it. He was being such a good sport about it though and got a really good treat for staying still for a minute. I think he looks best when he's au natural. Cheers, Tami
bradl Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Sometimes I think it's for the best that we can't know what they are *really* thinking. Still, gotta love a dog that will humor us. Lynn in TN Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Sometimes I think it's for the best that we can't know what they are *really* thinking. Still, gotta love a dog that will humor us. I would love to know what they are thinking. I just wonder if they are as much like us as they act. Kelly acts so much like me (MY Poor Hubby agrees) it"s scary, except Kelly is smarter.LOL Beautiful hat and beautiful fur baby.
Jayme Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Totally cute! I can see a new trend of hats for dogs!
kjwarnold Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 So I was torn between thinking it was a cute picture of Fearghus and trying to figure out if you did the lace on your machine! I haven't tried that yet, but it's on my to-do list. And yes, Packy & Kirby have been unwilling models for my creations. Jandy and my Cairns, Kirby & Phinney
Autumn & Lola Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 He could have made quite the entrance at the recent royal wedding. The hat is gorgeous and so is Fearghus.
pindrop Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 oh the indignities....why I put up with this is beyond me. (cute hat and congratulations on a job well done - but not a happy camper modeling) Husband and dog missing ...25 cents reward for dog
sanford Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 He could have made quite the entrance at the recent royal wedding. Feargus would have put Princess Beatrice to shame! FEAR THE CAIRN!
tomatosandwich Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Oh Fearghus, you really look miserable little chap! What a great pic! Nice work on the fascinator! My girls love those little hats!
ScruffynMag Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Wonderful photo and the hat is beautiful but I don't think Fearghus appreciates it! www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk
