hheldorfer Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 The horribly hot temps relented a bit this evening and Buffy enjoyed some time outside. I was working in the garden and look what I found in the middle of it. And a close-up of the princess herself:
pindrop Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 For a minute there I thought I was playing "where's waldo" - but a keen eye saw her hiding in the bushes. Lovely landscaping It's just way too hot to enjoy the outdoors right now. Early morning and late evening walks and short ones at that. Hope you are enjoying your evening in the garden. Buffy is gorgeous and looks right at home out there. Husband and dog missing ...25 cents reward for dog
Lynn in TN Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Buffy is a beauty and looks like she is enjoying be out for a while. Thank you for sharing the gorgeous pictures.
Idaho Cairns Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 What a lovely garden! Made all the more striking by having a Cairn Terrier lurking in amongst the shrubbery--as Cairns seem to love to do. My neighbor is putting in a completely new garden and walkway and Bonnie loves to go over and potty in the new dirt! Good, pays the neighbor back for all the times her damned male Dachshund has been over here marking on our furniture!

Good, pays the neighbor back for all the times her damned male Dachshund has been over here marking on our furniture! Thank you for the compliment. It's been a challenge to keep everything green this week! The photo shows Buffy in her favorite spot. I think she pretends she's a lioness hiding in the grass, ready to pounce on a wayward gazelle (or, in her case, a rabbit or squirrel). She's laying in the pachysandra - a ground cover that probably couldn't be killed by any means known to man, so I don't mind.
josie&holly Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Your garden is lovely! And the garden ornament is beautiful! I think Buffy looks very ornamental lying in the plants - they are probably cooler than the grass. Holly always likes to be outside with me if I am trying to tidy up my little garden. www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk
Dempsy's Mom Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Ha, Ha who needs a gazing ball when you have Buffy. So glad your heat broke and Buffy looks like she enjoys being back in her garden - it is a very nice area - good job. Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori
Hawkeye Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Finally Buffy could enjoy your beautiful garden! I didn't catch her in the first picture until Pindrop wrote where's Waldo...hahaha. We finally took our boys for a walk this morning, first time in a week.
janis Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 A garden cairn - much better than a gnome or angel! Beautiful!
Newman Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Wow the ridges around her eyes are so beautiful, and the color white is gorgeous, nice dog so cute Click to show the full size image!
