Cairn Fun Day

Each year in UK some people organise a Fun Day to raise money for Cairn Terrier Relief [rescue] - it is not one particular breed club. I had the opportunity to go this year whilst staying at my niece's for weekend. Thanks Josie for bringing over the pictures. I thought the wacky race was one of the best - enjoyed by all the dogs and humans. I too wish there was something in my neck of the woods as I would love to see Layla jumping in to enjoy all the fun things. I can't imagine how the dogs would not have loved all the socialization with both pups and humans. Stargemmer did a wonderful job as well as your niece for taking all these great photos.

Thanks for sharing your pictures it looks like it was a great day for cairns. I wish they did something like that in our area as well, I think my boys would have a blast. I could see Bailey & Radar in the Wacky Race, they probably wouldn't be able to stop.

Cairns love to run. Any Cairn folk who can reach Oregon on Labor Day weekend are invited to join our "Cairntastic Day" - it's nothing so grand as this event, but it is an opportunity to casually hang out with Cairns and their folk - we typically get 30 or more Cairns on-site for the races, potluck, games, etc.
