Ok here is the whole story. We went to pick her up got there at 2pm she was playing with her sister so cute. She was happy to see us wagging tail and all ,even though she had just got her shots. The breeder said she would probably sleep a lot today because of her shot.(that didn't happen) She sat in her crate(awake the whole hour and forty five minutes it took to get home) smiling, tongue hanging out, she would stand up from time to time to wag a little bit. We got home she was a little shy for about 15 minutes. She explored for a while, then played for a while, she likes her toys really likes the little red tennis balls, She loves the kids if one leaves the room she starts looking for them. She seems to like her crate has went in it on her own several times wouldn't sleep though, she acts like she's afraid she'll miss something. Once she was playing with my oldest, she fell over on his arm asleep (while she was playing LOL) he moved his arm she slept for 10 min. She went to her crate another time slept for 5 min. As of right now she hasn't used the bathroom in her crate or our home.(Of course we are watching her like a hawk) She has only ate a couple of kibbles and has only taken a couple of drinks of water.( That worries me a little) We are completely head over heels for her, she's a bundle of joy. We can't wait to see what she'll be like in a few days(when she really comes out of her shell. The video I took was to dark but I do have a slide show of a few pictures. I will keep you posted.

Awww, congratulations! Divot LOVES his kids, too! The bond between your new little love and your kids is going to grow and grow and warm your heart in so many way! I'm so excited for all of you. Does she have a name yet?

Lynn, she is just beautiful! Your description of the homecoming sounds really familiar--don't worry about the food or water, she will take what she needs--right now it is all excitement and newness for her so eating and drinking is secondary to all the other sensory stuff she has to do.

I'm really excited for you and your family--and more than a little envious as well. How fun!

What a little beauty!! Very interesting coloring. That innocent puppy look just imprints itself in your head & heart. Don't you wish you could take such a short nap & awake fully recharged? That's a true power nap! Enjoy & Goood Luck!

She is the cutest puppy yet!! .... until the next cutest puppy. I wish I could give her a hug/squish. She delightfully adorable. Love your description of "she's afraid to sleep, she might miss out on something" - I am sure that's exactly how she feels.

Congratulations to you all!!

this is such an exciting time in all your lives, including the puppy. She looks absolutely adorable and with her ears standing up - she looks like a little princess. I particularly like the one where she is fast asleep on the floor - so tired she didn't even want a blanket under her. Good times are a comin - and we can't wait to hear the name you are settling on. I'm so happy for you - as you waited such a long time and hung in with us through it all. Hugs

Miss Darby finally went to sleep last night at about 1:30AM. She didn't whine at all, and slept till 6:30AM then she started whining I took her out to go potty and she was fine, ready to play. She didn't go potty in her crate overnight . That made me very happy. She got to meet Eric (hubby) for the first time last night when he came in from work, she loves him too.

We wanted to take her to Moms today they have a dog they rescued from the street last a couple of weeks before Christmas. We thought she might be a little shy(WRONG)He was!HA!HA! She was chasing him around playfully and he was running trying to get away from her. He was a little upset at first, but we made her stop until he got to sniff and get more comfortable then they played for an hour and a half. Like a dummy I forgot camera that was a huge mistake. Their play would have made a great video. She has been asleep since we got home. (2 hours ago LOL).

Wow, and she's already out making friends with your mom's dog - quite the little social butterfly! Gosh, I wish I could be a fly on the wall . . .

Oh Lynn she's precious. I certainly hope Darby's brother does just as well when we get him this weekend! By the way, my sister-in-law's name is Darby. Isn't that ironic???
