Benny's four year anniversary

Benny's 4 year anniversary is tomorrow. I cannot believe I adopted a crazy and unstable Cairn Terrier four years ago. He has come so far from the insane puppy that was out of control and left me crying because I kept thinking what did I get myself into. For the first 6 months I had so many moments that I was sure I was crazy for having gotten Benny.

Fastforward four years. Benny still has a few issues and is a little crazy, but he has developed into a really good little dog. I cannot imagine my life without my little Benny.

I had that same feeling with Miley and, it's been a year and half, she is my loving, crazy, FOOD addicted terrier, and i would't trade her for anything :)

Happy Anniversary Benny, you wonderful little rascal!

So, does Benny get any type of special treat or outing today?

Isn't life full of surprises? You just have to hang in there. Congrats to you & the rehabilitated Benny. :P Have a nice day together!

Congratulations on making it to the four year mark and remaining relatively sane into the bargain. Benny sounds like a handful but that's what make them so special as each of them have their own crazy quirks. Happy Anniversary to Benny and hope you both have a wonderful day together.

There was a huge Thunderstorm today and Benny came totally unglued. He was freaking out and going absolutely nuts. I had to hold him on my lap until the storm passed and then he ended up falling asleep on my lap for another hour. So sweet. Reminded me of why I love the little guy so much.

He's on a roll. Yesterday he caught a squirrel and today he found a bird while on a walk. He's proud of himself indeed.

It is amazing how dogs come into our lives and no matter if they are the best behaved dog or an absoulte terror...they become a part of who we are and we grow to the point where we cannot imagine our lives without them.

Happy adoption day  These dogs are so great, and it sounds like Benny has a great mommy. And he has been on your side with all these moves in the past year.
