Happy Holidays!

Cute card. Unfortunately Dempsy would just get the naughty check today. We left in a hurry this morning to just run in some Christmas presents - weren't going to be gone long - left Demps in the entry .... while I was in town, I was wondering if we left anything in the entry that Dempsy would find interesting.

Well, when I got back and entered the house I thought that we had gotten away with it, but then I saw dad's boots - or what is left of them. Poor Demps. Dad did not come in the house with me so I was able to clean up the crime scene. We made our confession to dad at lunch and it wasn't to bad - so I think by Christmas Eve we will all be back on track. Whew!

Lovely card with a beautiful Cairn!

Buffy was on the naughty list last night because the neighbors had company arriving and she needed to let us know every time a car pulled up. She was very cute later, having discovered which stocking was hers. It was too high for her to get it so she sat on the floor staring at it and making some of the oddest sounds that I've ever heard. I swear she was talking. I don't speak fluent Cairn but I think she was saying "Please please please let me have my gifts NOW!". :santa2:

What a pretty dog - I love the black ones with their expressive eyes.

Layla is always up to trouble and the only way we could get her to settle down last night was to give her one of her gifts that Santa left behind (goodness knows why - he must see that she is naughty!) She loved it and managed to give us some peace for at least a half hour. Then typical puppy fashion, she fell asleep using it as a pillow for her very heavy head.

Pegi discovered her stocking (was hanging on the fireplace tools) yesterday. It had treats inside; oh oh! Santa had to move it away from her!!!
