Happy "Gotcha Day" Murphy!

Two years ago today, we welcomed Murphy, our beloved little Cairn, into our lives and home. Someone had decided they didn't want him anymore, had taken him to the city pound, and told staff they could euthanize him. He was only two years old. Miniature Schnauzer Rescue saw him there, and couldn't resist him. They saved his life.

He has turned out to be the most gentle and loving little pup we have ever known. He loves to cuddle, sleeps in our arms like a baby, and "talks" up a storm.

He is our joy.

We love you, Murphy! Thank you so much for gracing our lives, sweet boy.

Great story there--good for you and even better for Murphy--it is all serendipity when a good person and a good dog come together.

It really upsets me to hear that someone would say it's okay to have the pound euthanize their dog!

It's so awesome that you rescued Murphy and to hear the love in your "voice". Happy Anniversary!!

Murphy's story was really upsetting to me. It bugged me for days. Felt so bad for the little Schnauzer. Just broke my heart and I am so glad that something was prodding you to look at that Schnauzer site. Pure glee when you saw Murphy - true fate. We all love Murphy - I wish they all could have "Gotcha Days." For now we will celebrate Murphy's Day! I know he got lots of love and attention on his special day. ... special Murphy.
