I think the cat thinks he is hiding from Dempsey!!

Lovely pictures.

We have had a lovely sunny and warm day today so went to the cou ntry park this morning and had a lovely walk with Holly and my friend and her dog. Some of the trees are just beginning to change colour - I love seeing this happen.

Here's my contribution--Bonnie and Sammi in the Teton River near Driggs, Idaho day before yesterday. Fall has started in the high country and notice a view of the Tetons you rarely see, from the Western, Idaho side! The girls were being rewarded for being such good dogs in the campground while the wife and I were gone--they get their swim--even in these cold rivers. Just a beautiful afternoon.

Wow - that just doesn't get any better. Thanks for contributing to my fall theme. You folks have some beautiful scenery and I just love your cairns enjoying the water the way they do. You have alot to be thankful for ... we all do.

This isn't Fall but it's a cute picture I got of the boys recently. By the way, it's going to be 87 degrees here today, so where's Fall?

I love that picture! Imagine getting two Cairns to focus in different directions at the same time--it adds a new dimension to the phrase, "I got your back!". Cairns are such beautiful dogs--why doesn't everyone have one or two?????

I've gotten lots of questions on how I got them to do that. Ha - like I could get two Cairns to do that when I wanted them to! It's just a matter of them focusing on what interests them the most. Packy (right) is looking at the lake and waiting until he can get down and go fish. Kirby (left) is watching for squirrels in the tree to the side, hoping I'll give the release word and he can start patrolling. This is one of my favorite pictures now though.

Count me in as another admirer of your avatar and your cairns. I meant to post a request for you to supply us with a larger version of the photo, so I was happy to see it appear today.
