Anybody Elses Cairn do this?

Buddy loves to pick up a toy and walk around us with it in his mouth "humming". He isn't growling, but he is clearly talking. He also is not trying to keep whatever he has in his mouth away from us as his tail is wagging a mile a minute and you can pet and scratch him and it does not bother him. It is very cute.

Yes, this is EXACTLY what our Murphy does when we arrive home from work each day. We have had several different types of dogs, but none of them ever did this. Is this a Cairn thing??

Bailey does it too. He also will run for his nylabone and show me that he can chew it.

Shiner does it, Spring doesn't. I have never figured it out, he doesn't want me to throw it, or tug it, are they just showing it to us? Why?
