Scotty and Angel

well I had my 2nd surgery this morning. Everything went well. As soon as I came home I didn't even want to sit down I went straight to scotty's crate. I hadn't seen him in about 2 months. I had seen a few times early on when I got hurt but it was for ever long. Angel got to visit me on the weekends for a few hours. Scotty just pounced on me and licked me all over my not missing a spot several times and howled to the moon. He was so so excited and so was I! I missed my crazy dog so much!

Since I have been home for maybe an hour now he has not left me side not even once and is laying agaist me as I am typing this. Scotty is not a cuddler...normally ...he thinks he is a macho man or something. But not today he has put his head on my lap and laid agaist me and not left my side I think he missed me as much as I missed him.

Even though I got to see Angel 2x a week for last 2 and half months she was crazy excited too and licked me all over my face too. I love these two dogs and so very glad I am home now!

Sorry Yvonne I didn't tape me and scotty's greeting i was too excited and couldn't wait to see him!

since I have been home for 2 days now. Scotty has been on his VERY BEST behavior! He has been so so sweet. I have gotten non stop luvins from him. and he wants to cuddle. lol which isn't really his norm. The first night he kept laying in all my things my dirty clothes and fell a sleep on my walking boot. I started to strip him yesterday and he was all smiles, kissies, and his tail was wagging so much that he was waggin his butt. :P today he just wanted to cuddle and play fetch. But he always wants to play fetch non stop!Him and Angel just follow me around and haven't left my side. Angel has been nothing but sweet very loving though she has protested me being on computer by laying her head on my keyboard.

I found out I can't use crutches in the house the dogs don't seem to under stand my need of space and that i could fall over easily. So i have to use the stupid walker still. Which they do really good about moving out the way and giving me space to walk.

Getting back home with your babies is the best medicine for your recovery. Enjoy it while it lasts!

The walker is so much safer and it will get better now that you are home. Take care and do what the doctor says!
