eastofeden
There was a cairn an adoption segment of the Today show this week: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/35724102#35724102 He is awfully cute. Raise your expectations for what your Cairn can do....and try very hard to meet your Cairn's expectations of you.
Idaho Cairns
Yeah, the pound guy referred to this dog as a "Skye Terrier"--what a surprise for any adoptive family to find out that their "Skye" was really a Cairn Terrier. I can't believe anyone would make that mistake, especially after the "makeover"--that dog is all Cairn! You saw how he went for the other dogs--I'd take him in a minute--nice, really nice looking dog.
BetsyNoodle
Yes, I was really surprised that they misidentified that little Cairn as a Skye terrier. He is a real cutie and I would bet he is already adopted!

kjwarnold
Yep, that was no Skye Terrier! I thought it was cool that the bobsled team member adopted the dog he walked out right on the spot. Jandy and my Cairns, Kirby & Phinney
bradl
Very cute! Perhaps the pound guy was having a flashback. The first Cairns entered as a distinct breed at a dog show were entered as Short-haired Skye Terriers. I didn't think the fellow was that old, however. CAIRNTALK: Questions? Angieh
Wow. A Skye, eh? I don't know how you could think George is a Skye...especially after his makeover. He is such a cute little guy, too.

oscar's mom
I'm impressed they didn't shave George. I think the stripped, at least they knew how to groom a terrier.

I'll let you know if they respond back to me, but i figured that someone might as well say something to the shelter that poor little george is a Cairn. josie&holly
Very cute Cairn - and I can tell difference now after watching the Best of Terriers at Crufts - the Skye Terrier was 4th. But very nice dog but would not like to groom him - looked like a silky rug!! www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk
