Poor baby!! How in the world do the snow balls get so big? He must have had big fun playing in the snow. I don't get them so much on Buckley, but Gracies fine hair collects little ones.

Oh my goodness, it's the abominable snow-Cairn! I hope she had a nice warm soak afterwards. :)

Love his expression on the first pic! seems to be saying "oh dear, what am showing everything off for!"

I thought the snowballs Holly collected when we had our snow in January were bad - but poor lad I bet they were not easy to get rid of!

But I imagine they both had a wonderful time in the snow.................

Oh no, poor Scotty!

Looks like someone needs some grooming when the weather gets warmer! We'll have to get together again during the next warm up.

GREAT PICTURES! Misty comes in like that but it doesnt stick to Tobys course hair, and doesnt towel off either. I get the hairdryer and Melt them off her otherwise we'd have a super wet floor/carpet.. I am working on snow shots myself -we had 28" so far and a possible 6-8 in the next two days -I have major maze paths for them to go out! whew lotsof shoveling!

That's hysterical! Can you imagine what Scotty'd look like if he hadn't been wearing his snow coat? Probably something like the Michelin-dog.

Josie he was mad at me b/c I brought him inside!!! If he had his way he would would be out there all day long! I think he would rather freeze to death than come in side!

Tracy both dogs are getting scruffy again. I m probably not going to strip them until the weather is a lil better. I would rather them look like cousin it and be warm then than to be tidy and cold.

Scotty and I were only out side for about 45-1hr. Angel was only outside to do her business and we walked around a lil maybe 15-20 mins b/c she had a hard time playing in the snow b/c she is so little!

Dogs look cute, but I am seriously ready for spring! Snowing now in Mass., but looking forward to Red Sox truck leaving for spring training on Friday! Course, Pegi loves snow and NEVER WANTS TO COME IN!

We have had some flurries of snow today, then we had about 2 inches [which is now melting]. I went out to lunch and came back in the heavier snowfall and Holly wanted out so let her out and she did not want to come back in! She was bouncing around the garden with delight. I had to leave porch door open so the snow could come in.................[not dog]

So we have just had a short walk now it has stopped [and partly gone] and Holly pulled me onto someone's front lawn because she wanted to eat their snow and then promptly squatted. So someone will find they have a lovely white law with a few doggy prints and a yellow patch spoiling the view!

[and they do not have any dogs!]

Funny how these little dogs love the snow though - I met someone with a large lurcher the other day and apparently he hates the snow and won't go out in it!

Last night, and again this morning, I shoveled out. Both times, Zekey would not let me take off my coat and boots when I came inside -- he insisted that I take him out for a walk! I usually have to chase him all over the place to put on his harness coat, but there he was, up on the chair, waiting for me.

I must say, it was very peaceful and quiet, with the snow gently falling.

never saw soo much snow we are about to pass the highest record back in the 1800's

1st big fall was last thurs 28" and yesterday today and still now -you can add 7 more so far-so thats 35" have to shovel alot!! just to get the dogs outside. they are still showing snow through sat. had to have friens and family stay here.there are many many people without power/water. Its really bad. our power only went out 6 hours so far-happened once before for a couple days-we needless to say bought a generator. but its hard to even get the gas to run it-so we somewhat stock uo in the shed. Im attempting to get some good angle pictures and after I get them on the internet Ill post a few-its hard to get the right angle to clearly show the depth of the snow. OH {{{{{{{{{{{BRRRRRRR!))))))))))) .

but with the snow shoveled paths the dogs are loving it!

Hey, now, don't be talkin' about my Sully. These days, he thinks his name is Cousin It.

You gotta love snow Cairns. Better than your standard snowmen. And, they grin when they look that way! I have to watch the 'snow balls' b/c you know that has to hurt after a while. A nice hose down in the sink and blow dry, and they turn from "SNOW DOG" TO "FLUFF DOG". It is rather humorous.

But, if they catch you laughing at them, they run out the doggy door and do it again.
