I just read an article in the newpaper about Musher's secret. It is to use in place of boots to protect dog's paw from cold and chemical on road. Keep pads from forming ice balls. Anyone use this product? I put bag balm on right now to protect pads but this says it is 100% natural wax to be applied once a week or so. For a coating that protects.

When we first brought Murphy home we noticed her paw pads were very, very rough. It concerned us. We didn't know if it was from her allergies, her lack of good nutrition or whatever but we bought some paw wax from www.fivestarfido.com. It is all natural and peppermint smelling; quite nice. It worked for her. You might want to give it a go. It'll also protect from salt and ice.
