Idaho Cairns
I understand as well. Pretty dog and she looks like she is a fun little thing. I have always cured my grief over losing a Cairn with a new one--it works for me.

JimS
She is a sweetie! I had my terrier-mix with me 24/7 for 12 years. He went to work with me and everywhere else. When he had to leave, Dec 21, 2009, I was without a dog for about 24 hours and that was way too long. Then I brought this lil guy home from the shelter. I gotta have that sweet energy in my life. I had never met a Cairn before but after 3 weeks of living with this wonderguy I'd have to say that they are unique and special. MacFluff
Dixie is adorable. I'm so sorry you lost your last little dog. They all bring us such joy. I know how you feel as I lost both Molly and Micki last year. They were both 13, but that didn't make it any easier. I still had Sul & Sarah, but I do like having three. So, it wasn't long before Gracie came into our lives. I still think of Molly and Micki and miss them very much. One stupid lady once said to me something about 'replacing' a dog. They are never replaced. They will always be in our hearts.
Oliver's Mom
Great pictures and congrat's. I'm glad things are going well. Has anyone else noticed that Cairn's all seem to take really good pictures? I think it's part of their makeup to be very photogenic
