Unusual behavior

We finished stripping the girls yesterday and I thought it would be good idea to bath them (haven't done it in over a year). Well I did my girls first and then Sammy who I'm doggy sitting for January (see post - Looking after old dog). Now my two basically have ignored Sammy as he doesn't want to play with them and gets scared if they bark (even in play). But after I bathed him and put him outside in the sunshine to dry off with the other two all of a sudden Susie & Roxy got all interested in him and trotted around the garden with him and for about 10 lovely minutes they behaved like best buddies, it was so nice to watch.

Then it went back to "him and us", and they pretty much ignored him again. I can't work out why after a bath he was more acceptable to them but then they are cairns

I have noticed that baths bring out the playful puppy in just about any dog i've ever owned. I think the older dog gave off the playful vibe then it was over...LOL

That's what occurred to me immediately. All you have to do to turn my three

into energy machines is get 'em wet. :)
