tlwtheq Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 We just emailed Hairy Putter asking him to join our Cairn Talk family. We explained that our color commentator Eli doesn't post as often as he used to do, so Hairy is badly needed! Keeping our paws crossed, Olie, Teddy and Sweet Pea Max and Nelly

Hairy_Putter Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Thank you for finding interest in me. I was alerted by Google Alerts that someone had posted a quote about me. But only after I got an email from Tara did I decide to register and over the next few days work my way through your website. I love the name "CairnTalk". I hope you do visit my website and blog. Also, I have been lucky enough to have a couple of videos posted on YouTube, starring me, of course. And, there are a couple of videos shot of me without my dads permission on YouTube. At least I wasn't doing anything I shouldn't have. I am on assignment for the next two days, so talk to you later. Anyway, happy CairnTalk. Hairy Putter Hairy Putter www.HairysBlog.com

Hairy Putter Harry.... judging from your web site you are a "happenin" kind of guy!! Your photo's certainly portray you as a dude who leads a rich and varied life. Ring and I are glad to make your acquaintance and happy you are with us. We just joined a day or two before you and it's clear we're going to like this place. It's a cool and informative place to hang. We wouldn't have heard about you were it not for the "ear on the pulse" kind of folks that frequent CairnTalk. Hairy_Putter Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 My birthday is in three days and I will be four years old. I think I am very lucky to have the two dads that I do. One of my dads, Alan, was born in Liverpool. His parents currently live in North Staffordshire (I don't think they like being called grandma and grandpa - they are quite young at heart). Anyway, when I was born I was sent to a pet store and luckily my dads saved me. They were reading the Harry Potter books at the time, and as avid fans, decided to name me Hairy Putter because they thought I was magical. The second most life-changing event in my life happened a couple of months after I arrived at my new home. My other dad, was reading Cesar Millan's autobiography and in that book, Millan said that if you want your dog to be happy, he has to have a job. Well, that got the ole wheels turning. With a lot of people at the dog parks commenting on me, my dads started photographing me and then I started modeling clothes at fashion shows. I was so happy that I had a smile on my face as I walked down the runways with the models. I didn't make much money, which wasn't the purpose anyway, but I got to keep the clothes I modeled in the shows and on television. Now my dads had to allocate me a closet and buy baby hangers for my numerous outfits. Now I represent the county of Mendocino in California as their official canine ambassador - it's a tail waggin' experience. I want other people to know how much fun it is to travel and share your vacation with your best friend. I hope I don't let them down with my observations of life in northern California. hairy putter Hairy Putter www.HairysBlog.com
