My Kramer is so funny. I have a bathroom that we don't use the cabinets under the sink so I use them for pillow storage. I was calling for Kramer and he wasn't coming to me, I looked all over down stairs. I went up stairs and saw the cabinet doors wide open and this is what I found.

yep! paisley loves hiding under the ottoman...she wont be abe to do it for much longer, shes already having to squeeze under it!

actually...she just likes to hide wherever she can squeeze under something! luckily she usually keeps her little nose sticking out so i can find her!

All the time! In the beginning I was worried that Jock was sick and hiding.... now I realize he likes his alone time and that means ignoring me when I call him.... I can call him with no response. I have to shake the treat jar and he magically appears out of no where! -_- He likes going behind the sofa and just loves the rec room in the basement. Its dark and cool and lots of places to hide and ignore the humans.

Isnt it funny how alike all these Cairns are?

Murphy loves lying on the wood floor under my husband's roll-top desk. It is very cool, dark and quiet there. The first time I saw him there I thought he might be sick or in pain, but he ran out and played later. He also tries to "bury" his toy bones there. :)

Scotty likes hiding under my drafting desk and propping his head on my foot rest on my draft desk chair, also a big fan of pushing out the couch cushions laying inside the couch

Angel likes hiding under any blankets and they both liked hiding under the bed until I found out they were going to town tearing the cloth that was attached to my box spring... :soap: so now I blocked it with boxes so they can't hide there any more

Nope usually Louie is where we are. He's not a hider.

Skye likes to take a nap under the bath cabinets. It is Eurpean style with legs and does not have baseboards. Soon she won't fit under. Ditto for the lounge chair. Yesterday we found that she was pulling somekind of stuffing out from under the chair. Soon she won't fit under there either, but in the meantime, we have to watch her. <_<

Yes! Currey loves to den in any dark tight space. We had quite a few problems with him getting tangled in cords behind my hubby's desk and getting stuck there. I finally cleared out the area and got all the cords out of reach! When we can't find him, we always start with looking under desks or in closets. If you leave a closet open, he will go in!

Yep! When Gus was much smaller his favorite places were under the coffee table and the end table. Now that he's gotten so much bigger and can no longer fit under those, he's hide to find another favorite spot. I thought I was gonna die laughing when I finally figured out where it was he was sneaking off to when he wanted his "alone time".

We have an antique armoire in our living room that has some filigree work both top and bottom. On the bottom, the carpenters had to create a

"free space" to be able to include the this artistic element. It creates this wonderful space underneath the unit. What really kills me is that the space he gets in is a very small hole in the pattern of the work  ! He looks WAY too big to fit through it but darned if he doesn't! Gotta say he's a sneaky little bugger but we love him dearly!

Holly does not tend to hide anywhere, but if she wants to get away from me so gets in crate and lies right at back of it with her head facing wall behind. I think she thinks like an ostrich - if you don't see my eyes you can't see me! :P

Under the table, behind the basket is the "go to" place for sleep because big sister can't get back there. She also likes her crate and will retreat there if she is scared, angry, hurt, or just wants to cave up a bit.

Boy these Cairns are alike arent they? Brad I love the peek o boo under the bed. Brody is like Kramer as well. Kramer jumps in my computer opening. I put nothing in there its just an open space and he goes in there to be by me when on the computer. All the photos touch my heart. Thank you all for joining in. Its great to see these Cairns and there hiding techniques.

I laughed at how Scotty tucks into the couch too funny and Idaho Cairns, Kramer loves to be on his back too :)

They're all so darling! Made my evening for sure

And.. Holly facing the wall. If you can't see my eyes you can't see me, too cute!

And curry looks like Kramer when he hides in our closet on top of daddy's clothes

Gus fits that body right in there doesn't he?? Sounds like its time to catch him in a photo

Sky needs to get her picture too so we can see how these Cairns get into these tight fitting places.

Oh, some wonderful pictures - I just think Cairns are so cute anyway but love the Moray Cairn Bradl! Such a pretty face peeping out! They all seem to like squeezing into places to hide even some of the places [like the entertainment centre] cannot be that comfy!

apparently our dogs like soft places to rest :) sometimes i find rusty sleeping on my bed (with his head on the pillow) after i've been calling him for 5 minutes. lol

I finally got a picture of Paisley in her favorite hiding place! Somehow she wiggles herself under the cabinets in the kitchen and when her crate is in there, its even more funny!!

Love all these photos -- they are such little "denners"!. It's one of the traits that make them so endearing.

Taz hides under our futon (and it's so hard to get him out). Also, the corner of our closet - behind the clothes (pic).

Scotty in the couch jogged a memory of losing Currey once. I looked all over the house and was starting to freak out. Then I saw something out of place...my husband hates couch pillows and will stack them up on the back of the couch to get rid of them. Currey had snuggled down behind the stack. From the room I could only see this:

From another angle (weird corner area you can't easily walk to he looked like this, happily asleep!
