New Cairn in our life!

Recommended Posts

We picked up Nikko from the breeder this afternoon. He is 7 weeks old and our first Cairn. We lost our Cocker after 14 years in Feb. and I expect our new Cairn will be a bit more energetic.

So far he has played a bit and mostly napped. We are crate training and he seems perfectly happy to nap in his crate. Hope it continues!

I will try to post pics in the next couple of days.

Looking forward to interacting with you folks and getting to know our new dog.

Idaho Cairns

Welcome to the Forum. Congrats, you are about to embark on the sweetest ride that owning a dog can give you--Cairns are wonderful, despite what you might experience in the next six months. Trust me.

WOOF! Eli here.

I moved in with the Alpha B at age 15 weeks. I was plenty socialized and my bladder was big enough for house training. I was also old enough to "listen", when I felt like it, of course. And I slept thru the night.

Woof!
