The Mama
Hi. New to the Forum. We live in Ontario, and my husband just took our Cairn outside and he has just eaten a toad (it's rained all day and evening here). He came into the house gagging and had a bit of white froth at the mouth. I tried to make him throw up (finger in mouth) but it did't work. He quientend down, so I took him back out to a patch of grass that I knew was safe, and he went to the bathroom and came back in. He's had a drink of water, and is quiet in his crate. I'm worried about him. He seems ok now - is there anything else I could do for him? Is it ok to leave him for the night? If anybody on-line can help, I'd appreciate it.
