A Cairn and his friend RABBIT!

We have had a rabbit living everywhere outside our home. He/she adores Kramer, and Kramer truly thinks he has a true friend! This rabbit comes every morning on our patio then scoots under our tree's, deck, you name it, he is everywhere where Kramer can see him. He comes close up to the fencing I put up around our deck/pool/patio so Kramer can't get out. If Kramer is close to the fencing the bunny comes up close and he will sit there and eat grass and look at Kramer. Kramer just sits and watches like he is so fascinated. I grab my iphone to get pictures so they are not the greatest. When the bunny hears movement of anyone human he runs, Kramer can jump around, bark his head off and the bunny just dazes at him. I hope this bunny stays around because if he leaves one day Kramer is going to be one sad puppy :(

I suspect that if the fencing were not in the way and Kramer met the bunny .... well, best not think about it!

Went to local country park [Clumber, belongs to National Trust] this afternoon and Holly spotted a rabbit family on the path - and off we went! Me hanging on to her as she raced along .............................but then rabbit disappeared under fence and so Holly peered under fence longing to go after them! But no way was I letting go of the lead..............

that was followed by some chases after squirrels [they go trees - can I?]

She is tired now - and I am worn out as it is quite warm today!

So I don't think like Kramer Holly would just want to look at rabbit - she would be trying to get through that fence!

It's funny, all we say is Kramer, your friend and he gets so excited and goes searching. He is very friendly. We were walking last summer, there was a little mouse by a tree. Kramer was standing there just looking and taking his paw like a cat and I was wondering, what is there. I went to see and there it was, a little mouse! He didn't harm it at all, we walked away after I screamed, a mouse! He will see a ladybug and look down at it maybe paw at it but never harms anything. Nothing would get past my Missy, she would of had that mouse and well, you know the rest.

Now you understand how my preying animals (Cairns) coexist with my prey animals (rabbit, gerbils).

Sometimes they just know what you want. :)
