sings for her treat?

Totie came to us in Jan a 2 year old from the woods. So she was previously owned by someone unknown. She does the craziest thing when we give her a treat. At first she takes it and lays it down. Then after you go away you will hear her throw her head in the air and howl and then she eats it. One thought was that they taught her to sing and then gave her a treat. However, she also howls over her toy teddy bear and squirral. She picks one of the toys up and lays it aside, howls, picks it up and moves it again and howls. Then she just goes on to something else. Her regular food in her food bowl is not howled over, just eaten.

How strange is this?
