The forum was just upgraded by one major revision and several minor revisions. I have been derelict in my maintenance duties As the major portion of upgrade seemed to complete more or less successfully I have turned the forum back on for use and live testing. I have done a lot of customization in various corners of the forum in the past and as a result it often takes a while to find things that did not survive an upgrade intact. If you find something that seems wrong or clearly broken, please let me know in this topic. Ideally, paste a link to the page showing the issue or provide a description of what seems wrong. There are some add-ons that still need some attention — for example the member map add-on application seems to have eaten all our markers so I have turned if off for the moment until I figure out my options. You will see some instability (or temporary offline status) as I work on some of these add-ons. Thanks for your patience and understanding during this stressful time.

Existing members - your account was successfully moved and your Cairn Talk Forum login/password has not changed. Just log in again to set a new cookie for this new domain. Everyone - Please do me a huge favor and if you run into a hiccup, question, problem, issue, or error, please use Forum Support, rather than noting it mid-topic somewhere else. Similarly, please use a forum support topic when appropriate instead of a PM to me personally ... reserve PMs for private or personal messaging. Thanks! P.S. Change is hard. Please be patient as we sort things out bit by bit. And be patient with yourself too! No one was born knowing how to use web browsers and forum software, so don't feel like you're alone if you find something baffling. I guarantee you are not alone

Don't worry about double posts. I will come around at some point and delete any duplicates, or you can click the 'report' button to send me a notice about a duplicate that needs cleaning up. I'd actually prefer you not edit duplicates down to nothing because I might end up deleting your 'real' post and leaving your edited-to-empty post. That would make both of us sad Double posts happen to everybody -- no one thinks you're repeating yourself on purpose
