So I would like to do agility, earthdog trials, and rally with little Riley. Many people say to start right away. Is that true? If so is 8 weeks too young to start training?
  2. bradl

Coach Vicki giving Harry and Raven early introductions to puppy-sized agility equipment. They are 10 weeks old. Visiting puppies swarm in support. I like the way the rear pup is unfazed by the little bounce. They are fearless. Posted in Cairn Life rather than Performance Cairns because I suspect they are mostly getting environmental exposure, not actually being trained for agility. Yet.
  3. Did you see the Cairn run the agility course last night at Westminster? Somebody posted a video of it on a FB group I'm in.
  4. Well-written performance-oriented dog-blog featuring a Cairn Terrier. Five Stations of the Dog. As soon as I started reading the articles I realized that Thomas and his thoughtful handler have graced our specialty obedience ring before ... and I believe are entered again this year. You can bet we'll all be cheering them on!
  5. Recent runs in JWW Open. Born in USA, she's now a permanent resident of Malaysia Both clean runs for Runs 1 & 2. Could only run in this Open class as she's got 2 titles under her furry belt. She earned her 3rd agility title from this run, which was a nice surprise as we haven't been keeping track of her clean runs. We've eased up on the number of trials we participate in, but she's still got the speed and she still has so much fun running the course. She absolutely loves it! The Judge for this round is from Australia.
