Looks like you've captured the fraction of a second before mayhem! The look in the little one's eyes at the unsuspecting one balanced on the edge of the sofa is a Cairn calamity in the making!

You called it! A moment later I got my "Are you sure you want a Cairn?" photo ...

However it's the "unsuspecting" one who is rattling her mother's brain  in response to the invitation.

Oh well...Every family has its ups and downs!

Interesting how their color changes as they grow older.  Oban was about as light as Stella is in this photo when he was young, and now his face is completely black and his coat has darkened.  He is 7.  I remember how Allie darkened until she was 15, when we stopped stripping her and she was completely black, with some gray -- not brindle gray, but old age gray! She lived to over 16...
